(Dayton, OH)--An IU East math professor has appeared in Dayton Municipal Court and has pled not guilty to charges that include engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools.  Ramesh Karki was one of about a hundred men caught in a human trafficking sting across Ohio earlier this year.  Karki was in court Monday and is due back at the end of the month.  Karki was described this week as a former IU East professor, although he still appears in the IU East staff directory.
