(Richmond, IN)--There are some startling numbers from a local food pantry that is indicative of the effects of inflation and other factors.  The Community Food Pantry in Richmond is now serving an average of one new family every single day.  Even more startling…they’ve served three and a half times as many people this year as they did at this time last year.  They’ve served 30,000 more meals so far this year than they did all of last year.  Now, the pantry needs about $50,000 to finish the year out of a deficit.  Cash donations are being accepted.  The Community Food Pantry is located in the 300 block of North 19^th in Richmond.
