A Union City man has been charged in Randolph County with child molesting, which is a felony that carries up to a 40-year prison term.  Eric Wayne Bowers, age 39, is accused of sexual assault of a minor who told authorities that she and her siblings had been left in his care for an evening.  Bowers has denied the allegations and is being held in the Randolph County jail under a $70,000 bond.  An initial hearing in the case is set for later today.
