(Fountain City, IN)--Thursday night, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department released details of what turned out to be a fatal accident on U.S. 27 at the south side of Fountain City on Wednesday.  56-year-old Dean Dunaway of Fountain City was riding his bicycle on the southbound shoulder of the highway when he turned into the path of a vehicle that was approaching from behind.  Dunaway was flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, where he was later pronounced dead.  The investigation is continuing.
