(Richmond, IN)--Here’s more on the new contract between the Richmond Education Association and Richmond Community Schools.  Starting teachers will begin with a $46,000 annual salary.  Established teachers will get, on average, a ten percent raise.  "This teachers' contract is further confirmation that our corporation is committed to action-based leadership.  As a result of such leadership, we are strengthening the partnership with our classroom teachers, which will be of benefit to the students that our teachers selflessly serve," said Superintendent Dr. Curtis Wright.  The new collective bargaining agreement will be in effect for the next two years.
