(Richmond, IN)--There has been no indication from law enforcement in either Wayne or Preble County that the subject of Tuesday morning’s incident on and around I-70 has been captured.  According to scanner traffic, that person stole a truck in Preble County and fled west into Wayne County at around 5:30 Tuesday morning before crashing near the New Paris Pike overpass.  The suspect fled into the large wooded area around New Creations.  Meanwhile, traffic on westbound I-70 came to a standstill.  Authorities used drones and other measures to search for at least two hours.
