(Richmond, IN)--A man who was wanted in Fayette County for felony battery was taken into custody in Wayne County Monday.  But, it’s not first time 30-year-old Derek Carter has faced a violent criminal charge.  Back in 2019, Carter was accused of breaking the arm of a two-year-old and blackening the eyes of a six-year-old.  Carter was taken into custody Monday at Reid Health.
