(Richmond, IN)--One area off of I-70 that is likely to see lots more commercial development in the next decade is on U.S. 27 just north of I-70, and that includes plans for a large new gas station and convenience store.  A company called QuickTrip is working to buy 11 acres of land just north of the I-70 interchange on the west side of 27.  When complete, it would be the fourth gas and convenience store at the interchange, but the only one north of the interstate.  The company wants to install a 100-foot-tall sign that would display gas prices.  They’ll go before the Board of Zoning Appeals next week.
