(Richmond, IN)--A business that’s been at the heart of the Old Richmond neighborhood for decades is closing its doors for good.  It’s Senior Opportunities Services.  SOS, as it’s known, has operated a craft shop at Cutter’s Corner in Old Richmond for the last 47 years.  Over 150 area seniors are typically involved in producing various types of artwork, clothing, and furniture.  The organization has also served as a senior employment service.  SOS will remain open for at least a few more months.  Any leftover inventory will be sold at auction.  SOS also operates the Fourth Street Fair.  There’s no word on how that will be affected.
