EPA REMOVES 60 TRUCKLOADS OF SCRAP METAL FROM MY WAY SITE

(Richmond, IN)--The EPA has issued another update on cleanup efforts at the site of last April’s My Way Trading fire.  As of Wednesday morning, crews have now washed, removed, and recycled over 60 truckloads of scrap metal that weighed roughly 430 tons.  Crews also removed a large pile of non-hazardous waste that was created as a result of the fire.  That pile amounted to another 645 tons.  Crews will continue working for the rest of this week and then break for the holidays.  They’ll resume cleanup on January 8.
