(Richmond, IN)--Plans for a large new gas station and convenience store just north of I-70 on U.S. 27 are advancing.  QuickTrip is investing about $9 million and plans to employ up to 40 people at what will be one of the first commercial developments on the north side of 70 at that interchange.  The Board of Zoning Appeals has approved five requested variances involving signage.  Once it’s up and running, customers will have to access the QuickTrip from Highland Road.
