(Richmond, IN)--There are multiple lawsuits surrounding the My Way Trading fire, and now there’s been some movement on one that’s now progressing through a federal court.  Seth Smith and his company, Cornerstone LLC, have filed a motion for summary judgement claiming that the two named plaintiffs in a class-action lawsuit, Richmond residents Tushawn Craig and Marquetta Stokes, have not presented evidence that would make Smith liable.  The city of Richmond remains a co-defendant in that class-action suit.  They are suing Smith and Cornerstone.  And, a New Paris family is suing both entities, claiming a resident’s death is the direct result of the fire.
