(Richmond, IN)--After eight years of service to the city, Thursday is the last full day in office for Richmond Mayor Dave Snow.  Ron Oler, who defeated Snow in last month’s general election, will be sworn in Friday night.  Early in his mayoral career, Snow worked to improve collaboration with county-level officials.  One of his earliest challenges was the removal of the old Reid Hospital building.  Then, Snow dealt with the city’s response to Covid-19.  One of Snow’s primary projects was the Loop – a plan to connect downtown with the Depot District.  That plan will continue into Oler’s term.  Snow has not publically announced what he will pursue next.
