(Richmond, IN)--It does not appear on Tuesday morning that there had been any book-ins into the Wayne County Jail over the long weekend as a result of a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in an apartment complex occupied by numerous IU East students.  It happened at the Richmond Flats Apartments, which is near Meijer.  One person had been shot and was later flown to a Level One trauma center.  Investigators say that more than 50 people were present during the shooting, but no one was cooperative during the initial investigation.  Several vehicles were also struck by gunfire.  The name of the victim and his or her condition Tuesday morning had not been released.
