(Preble County, OH)--There was a fatal motorcycle crash on I-70 late Monday afternoon.  It happened on westbound 70 at around 5:45 very near the Ohio Arch in Preble County.  Very few details have been released so far, but officials have confirmed that a semi and a motorcycle collided just before entering the construction zone.  The victim’s identity has not been released.  There’s no word on what caused that accident and whether or not slowed traffic for construction was a factor, but scanner traffic indicated that the motorcycle rider drove into the back of the semi.  This is the third fatal motorcycle accident in the Whitewater Valley in the last two weeks.
