(Richmond, IN)--Here’s some great news for east-side Richmond businesses.  The ramp from westbound I-70 to westbound U.S. 40 will reopen this weekend after having been closed since late July.  That closure effectively cut the number of customers leaving the interstate to patronize local hotels and restaurants in half.  Drivers in that area will notice a big change beginning this weekend.  One of the two roundabouts will be in use.  When the project is complete, there will be two roundabouts on 40.  One will be on each side of I-70.  The complete reconstruction of that interchange is not expected to be complete for more than a year.
