(Richmond, IN)--An initial hearing was held Tuesday for a Richmond man accused in a horrible case of animal abuse.  58-year-old Clyde Bowne was sent directly to the Wayne County Jail following Tuesday hearing in which a public defender was appointed.  Last month, according to court documents, Bowne admitted to killing at least five cats inside his home on South 16^th.  A trial date was set for February.
