(Richmond, IN)--Richmond police took an altered handgun and some drugs off of city streets Sunday night.  At around 6:30, 36-year-old Amber Walker was contacted by officers in the first block of South 8^th Street.  In addition to the altered handgun, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was discovered.  Quantities have not been disclosed.  Walker had a nearly identical arrest last May and is due to go on trial on those charges in April.
