(Connersville, IN)--A water rate increase appears to be headed to the city of Connersville.  Connersville is working on a major water line replacement project.  The first phase alone is expected to cost $14 million.  It will cover the northern sections of the city where lines are in excess of 80 years old.  The rate increase will add roughly five dollars per month to the average residential bill and is set to take effect in July.  A public hearing on the increase is set for 7 o’clock on the evening of the 16^th at Connersville’s city hall.
