(Richmond, IN)--Here’s case-in-point as to why you shouldn’t necessarily believe everything that goes out over police and fire scanners.  Late Monday night, a call came into 911 that a vehicle had crashed into the social security building at North 5^th and A Street in Richmond.  But it wasn’t that at all.  It wasn’t even close.  "They just ran over a little sign in the parking lot and hit a curb.  It wasn't even what they said it was," said Battalion Chief Jerry Benjamin.  Firefighters were on the scene for minimal time.
