(Whitewater Valley)--For the second straight month, Wayne County’s unemployment rate has risen.  And, it’s now the highest it’s been since February.  According to numbers from the state that were released Wednesday, Wayne County’s unemployment rate has risen from 3.3% to 3.7%.  The increase is due largely to 137 more people who are now considered unemployed.  Fayette County’s rate is fourth highest in the state at 4.2%.  Union County’s is second-lowest at 2.8%.
