(Richmond, IN)--Richmond’s observance of the National Night Out, which was scheduled for Saturday night, has been cancelled.  The National Night Out is an annual effort to improve relationships between police and communities.  RPD issued a notice Thursday indicating that this year’s event has been cancelled as the department makes itself available to help in Lynn.  Forecast inclement weather was cited as another reason for the cancellation.
