(West Alexandria, OH)--West Alexandria Fire & EMS was involved in a high-water rescue on State Route 503 after several inches of rain fell in the pre-dawn hours Thursday morning.  The driver would later tell crews that he didn’t realize the roadway was flooded until he entered the water.  A rescue crew from Miamisburg was already in the area.  Several members went into the rushing water and removed the driver from the partially submerged vehicle.  No one was injured.
