Flatland Forever!

Flatland Cavalry is on a roll.  While they haven't managed to break through into mainstream radio, the band from Lubbock received an ACM Awards nomination for Group of the Year this Spring (their first). They also wrote and recorded "Touchdown", a cut on the Twisters soundtrack this summer. Last night Flatland Cavalry dropped a whopping 25-song album, "Flatland Forever". If you've never heard them before, it's an impressive introduction.  The collection is a tribute to their 10 years together on the road, featuring new songs for old fans, previously unreleased material, and older material, like one of my favorites from their first EP, 2015's "Missing You".
