I don't know much about being a burglar but I do know from movies that you're probably supposed to know what you're getting yourself in to.

 

Two buglars tried to rob a McDonald's in France and what they didn't account for is that of the 40 customers in the store, 11 of them were from the Groupe d’intervention de la Gendarmerie nationale (GIGN) or if your French is like ours... they're  "elite police who specialize in counter-terrorism and hostage rescue"

"They waited until the robbers were leaving the restaurant so that the other customers would not be in danger, but then gave chase, Besançon public prosecutor Edwige Roux-Morizot said yesterday.

One, who was carrying around €2,000, was captured almost immediately as he stumbled while attempting to escape, while the other was shot in the abdomen by one of the elite forces and arrested.

The pair, who are in hospital, will face charges of armed robbery and violence."
