From Hold My Drink and Watch This today, A Washington DC woman was recently arrested for stealing French Fries from a police officer. The woman sat down next to the officer at a cafe and tried to begin a conversation with him. She stole one of his fries before he asked her to stop. The woman took another and ignored the officer's request to stop. She was placed under arrest after she stole a third fry.

The woman was charged with second-degree theft.

“I then politely asked D-1 to not do that again because I paid for that food and she was stealing from me and she could be arrested for theft of my food,” the officer wrote in a police report cited by FOX 5. 

“Well then you might as well take me to jail,” said the woman, who was not publicly named,

With that, she snagged another fry.

The officer arrested the woman and charged her with second-degree theft. The Washington Post noted that the police report listed the items stolen as “French Fried Potato . . . quantity 3.”
