Slow and steady wins the race. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
Those two sayings don't mean I've started running. That won't happen. But they serve as good reminders to me that weight loss is gradual, not immediate. And it's weeks like this that I need those reminders the most.
My focus this week is portion control. Living alone, I cook for myself. I need to start embracing leftovers or just cook smaller amounts so I don't feel the need to eat everything I make right there and then. Sounds silly, I know, but that's my mindset, and it needs to change.

This week (4/12/21): 252.0 lbs
