The price of eggs has gotten so crazy, people are making a run for the border.

 

Instances of people trying to smuggle eggs in to the US have gone up 108% from the start of October to New Year's Eve, according to US Customs and Border Protection. 

 

The penalty for getting caught trying to bring eggs across the border isn't cheep cheep cheep (sorry, couldn't help myself). Fines range from $300 to $10,000!
