Movie ticket prices are about to become a little more like real estate: all about location, location, location.

 

AMC Theatres announced a new tiered pricing system that will involve different prices depending on where you sit in the theater. The system, called "Sightline at AMC", will raise prices for seats typically in the middle of the theater, while front row and select ADA seats will cost less.

 

This system would apply to all showtimes after 4pm at participating locations, but would not apply on Discount Tuesdays. Expect to see "Sightline at AMC" implemented at all AMC locations by the end of the year.
