On Air

Mmm... Airport Air Conditioner Beer

Sure, these beers could get you wasted. The water that was used to make them, however, was definitely not wasted.

Does this qualify as a "going green" way to make beer? We don't know, but it is unique. A brewing company in San Diego decided to make two new beers using condensation from the air conditioners at the San Diego International Airport. The water was collected, purified, and used to create two beers: a West Coast-style IPA named "Hoppy Travels" and a German-style pilsner called "Pre-flight Pils".

The new brews are getting great reviews, so if you feel like giving them a try, book a flight to San Diego!
