"The check's in the mail". Who hasn't heard that one before? Well, maybe it should be a thing of the past, and the Postal Service agrees!

 

The US Postal Service is warning that check fraud is rampant, even though check usage is declining. Banks reported almost 700,000 reports of check fraud last year, compared with 350,000 reports in 2021.

 

Government relief checks were major tarkets, but many small businesses utilize checks as well. With that being the case, the Postal Service recommends other methods of payment.
