That headline might have you thinking Adam Sandler is about to do some schooling in Muncie. Not exactly. But, Sandler is part of the story.

 

A Bloomington South High School golfer by the name of Landon Gilmore has committed to play collegiate golf at Ball State University. And yes, he just so happens to go by the nickname "Happy".

 

Social media took care of the rest.

 

Adam Sandler himself tweeted to young Happy, wishing him the best of luck. ESPN and other media outlets have run with the story as well. 

 

It doesn't appear to be going to the head of Gilmore, who seems to be grounded and not...ahem...too good for his home.
