Don't be surprised if there's a new sign the next time you go to the zoo: "Stop showing videos to the gorillas!"

 

The Toronto Zoo has decided to put a stop to visitors showing pictures and videos on their phones to the gorillas out of concern for how it might affect them. A behavioral supervisor at the zoo says that they've noticed no changes in behavior yet, but they want to try to keep the gorillas' lives as normal as possible.

 

Maybe we can learn from the gorillas. After all, they haven't seen the latest TikTok dance trend and they're doing just fine, so perhaps we can all cut back on the screentime, too...just make sure to follow us on social media, first!
