Thousands of Hoosiers rise to the challenge each winter to raise money and awareness by braving the elements and taking an icy dip to demonstrate their commitment to the cause during the Special Olympics Indiana Polar Plunge. 

Raising money for Special Olympics Indiana helps provide athletic and other opportunities as a catalyst for social change, exposing inequity and highlighting the abilities of people with intellectual disabilities to break down misperceptions and negative attitudes.
