Does Cody Johnson Have More Tats than Jelly Roll?

Cody Johnson is all tatted up.  Including one tattoo that's in a very weird spot:  The bottom of his FOOT. Someone asked him if he has more tattoos than Jelly Roll.  He said he's not sure, because he's never seen Jelly with his shirt off.  Then he started listing all the places HE has them . . . including one on the ARCH of his foot.

So, what's the tattoo, and WHY?  He answered the why question first:  Alcohol.  The tattoo itself has a story.  He had his tattoo artist on tour with him, and asked if there was any body part he'd never done a tattoo on before.

Turned out he'd never tattooed the bottom of someone's foot.  So Cody went for it.  He says it tickled a little, but it wasn't too bad.  The alcohol probably helped.

He didn't show it off, and we couldn't find any photos online.  But it was inspired by his favorite Waylon Jennings song, "I've Always Been Crazy".  Specifically, the lyric, "I've always been different, with one foot over the line."

The tattoo is the number "1" . . . then an apostrophe for the word "foot" . . . and it's underlined.  So, "1 foot" over a line.

Jelly Roll took home the New Artist of the Year Award.  He noted in his speech, “There is something poetic about a 39-year-old man winning new artist of the year… What’s in front of you is so much more important than what’s behind you. Let’s party, Nashville!”

“Fast Car” won awards for both Luke Combs, who snagged the prize for Single of the Year, and Tracy Chapman, who accepted the Song of the Year award in absentia.

Performance highlights included Wynonna Judd joining Jelly on stage for his single, “Need A Favor,” Morgan Wallen bringing Eric Church out to recreate their duet of “Man Made a Bar” and Post Malone joining Wallen and Hardy for a tribute to Joe Diffie.

Kenny Chesney And Zac Brown Band To Embark On The Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour

Kenny Chesney has enlisted Zac Brown Band to join him on the Sun Goes Down 2024 tour.

They will also be joined by Megan Moroney and Chesney's “When The Sun Goes Down” duet partner, Uncle Kracker.

Chesney said of the tour, “I wanted a name that suggested – obviously – when all the good stuff starts to happen. The one thing I’ve learned about No Shoes Nation and these stadium shows is they start the good times early and they just keep it going. We all know, when the sun goes down, that’s when people really get loose and enjoy themselves.”

Kicking off April 20th, 2024 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, the tour will run through August 23th at Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium for what has become a tradition: closing out the tour in a venue Chesney has played to well over a million people.

Tickets for these major stadium shows will go on-sale Friday, November 17th.

Miranda Lambert's Walmart Home Line

As Miranda Lambert‘s Wanda June Home fall collection, is making its journey, of her Walmart home line — one that she calls a labor of love.

“It takes a long time to build a brand and we’re still definitely in the building stages. But every day is a new day of trying to make sure that Wanda June represents exactly who I am and who my family is and what we stand for,” Miranda tells ABC. “I think that all comes from mostly just being who you are in keeping it simple, you know?”

While Miranda is still building out her home line, she’s got big, generation-transcending dreams for it.

“Wanda June is one of those lines that once we keep building it out, I’m hoping that it’s generational,” she says. “My mom has my grandmother’s dishes and I’ve got some of my grandmother’s dishes, and then I’ll get my mom’s. I hope Wanda June is one of those collectible generational things people can attach memories to.”
